Leonard was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma on November 27, 1936.

His dad was a poultry farmer and had 5,000 chickens, so the Lovgrens made an agreement with the hospital to pay the bill for Leonard’s birth in eggs.

Leonard’s mom, Marie, even had a dream that Leonard was born with feathers.

In the last 2 years, Leonard has been in the hospital several times.

His insurance had required him to go to Tacoma General for his care.

Well, in just the last few months his insurance changed, and for his very last visit to the hospital, he went back to the place of his birth, St. Joseph, and that’s where he passed away, almost 84 years later on October 5, 2020.
